Hospital and Emergency Medical Care Notice
In the event of a medical emergency, students must immediately call the Korean emergency number, 119, to request an ambulance or urgent assistance. If a student requires emergency room treatment, urgent or just general hospital care while in Jeonju, all students are requested to visit Jeonju Hospital.
Jeonju Hospital maintains a close cooperative relationship with Jeonju University and provides dedicated support for international students.
Most medical expenses are covered by insurance. Please do not worry about the expense.
English-speaking staff are available to help with communication and medical translation, especially in emergency or sensitive situations. Students should also contact the International Office and the International Healthcare Team(translator) at Jeonju Hospital for guidance and support.
